Guidelines on grocery shopping, reading labels, setting up your pantry, eating out, and a product rating chart.

School: Be prepared and pack safe snacks for your child to keep at school, in the event of unplanned class parties and treats.
Travel: Bring a doctor's note that allows you to bring your epi-pen with you on the aircraft. Bring unopened Benadryl with packaging intact since airlines will force you to forfeit any liquids in unsecure containers. Call the airlines in advance to review what foods will be served.

Parties: Bring your own safe food to parties. Keep the task of keeping your child safe, your own.

Graditude: Thank the people who help your child be safe. It takes a great deal of teamwork to manage allergies, and it's important to show your appreciation.

Allergy Haven   The Web
Welcome to Allergy Haven! This site is dedicated to empower, educate and support parents of children who suffer from life-threatening allergies. Everyday, hundreds of children are diagnosed with food allergies (in particular, peanut allergy, nut allergy, wheat allergy and egg allergy)… and experience a range of symptoms from eczema and hives to anaphylaxis. Allergy Haven is the first line of defense. We offer up-to-date information on allergies, guidelines (see safe home, safe living and safe food), and products designed to protect your child in and out of the home. It is our philosophy that you can create a safe haven for your child, a foundation for them to thrive.
